It's been a while....

Well, it has been a while since I last updated our blog. I've been insanely busy with school. But, in the past few weeks, we have attended the Glennonville picnic, hosted a barbeque, and started school (obviously). Field day at the Delta Center is fast approaching. Jim has been prearing his talks and posters for the upcoming events. Several of our friends have recently had a baby, Jenny and Pat had a baby boy, Suellen and Pollard had a baby girl, Sam and Matt had a baby boy, and Jeremy and Tameika had a baby boy. Oh, more big news from us, we bought a new washing machine! I know, I know, that's not real exciting, but that's our life! Other upcoming events, Jim's sister, Cathy's wedding shower is this weekend, and the following weekend we are going to a Cardinal's game! Jenny will also be visiting that week with baby Mckinley. I'm so excited, we've got a lot of things going on. I will try to put more pictures up soon.

Camp

Well the Heiser's had a weekend full of reminiscing. I visited Girl Scout Camp and Jim went to a party to send off an old friend to boot camp. We both had a great time visiting old friends. Sunday night was the open Osage ceremony . This was the first time that I have been to camp all summer long! During the last four years, I have spent my summers working or volunteering at camp. This summer would have marked my 13th year! I decided to sit one out because of the wedding. I didn't miss it much until I went back. I tell ya what, I still don't miss the worrying about getting the urge to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night and not wanting to go tromping through the woods to get to the latrene. I now pee freeely at any time of night! I also really enjoy sleeping late and staying inside the a.c. on those really hot and humid days. But, I really miss the lake, the campers, the singing after meals, the cook-outs, and Osage. Oh, the list could go on and on. But, all in all, we both had a great time visiting with everyone.
