Camp

Well the Heiser's had a weekend full of reminiscing. I visited Girl Scout Camp and Jim went to a party to send off an old friend to boot camp. We both had a great time visiting old friends. Sunday night was the open Osage ceremony . This was the first time that I have been to camp all summer long! During the last four years, I have spent my summers working or volunteering at camp. This summer would have marked my 13th year! I decided to sit one out because of the wedding. I didn't miss it much until I went back. I tell ya what, I still don't miss the worrying about getting the urge to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night and not wanting to go tromping through the woods to get to the latrene. I now pee freeely at any time of night! I also really enjoy sleeping late and staying inside the a.c. on those really hot and humid days. But, I really miss the lake, the campers, the singing after meals, the cook-outs, and Osage. Oh, the list could go on and on. But, all in all, we both had a great time visiting with everyone. Here are a few pictures of camp. Next weekend is the Glennonville picnic. So, expect more pictures soon!
