Ear update

So, I had my ear surgery in June. All went well. They were able to get all of the infection out of the bone, cover the hole in the eardrum, and they even created a new ear canal. I've been back to see the doctor 3 times since the surgery. At first, he said that everything was healing nicely. This week, he said that it was still infected on the surface and we are trying to treat it with yet another heavy dose of antibiotics. He also tried to tell me that I should not be working yet (it's been almost 2 months).
